Me: But that’s the wrong remote! That’s the cable remote. You have to use the TV remote.
Matthew: It’s a universal remote.
Me: No!

Matthew: [Crickets.]

…and this is why I read your blog. Phenomenal. I think I’ve got 4, count ’em f-o-u-r remotes and I used at least 2 each time I turned my TV on and off, until I got a boyfriend. That’s what men are for.
If only boys would read manuals about how to operate other things so as to maximize satisfaction.
