I Heart Bettie Page

After reading this review in Salon, I’m even more excited to go see The Notorious Bettie Page. I’m a little obsessed with Bettie. I went as her for two Halloweens in a row. Halloween, of course, being the International Day of Girls Forgetting to Wear Pants.

As you know, Halloween is the one day girls can dress like total skanks and run around in their underwear, as long as they wear animal ears on their heads. “Look! I’m a bunny!”

haha. My college Halloween outfits were– Hooker, Hooker II, Hooker:Revisited with Whip, and Lady of the Hook. I thought I was so cool.

Most guys wouldn’t care if you ran around in your underwear year-round. (With or without animal ears.) Though our productivity would suffer, and winter would probably be a bit uncomfortable.

I can’t wait for this post-apocalyptic future people keep writing about, when everyone can dress in patent leather clothes with only one sleeve and such.

What do you mean “future?” I wore that to the office today.
